This report identifies the impacts of the New Zealand science system, and the inputs and outputs that lead to these impacts.
As a policy advice agency, the Ministry of Research, Science and Technology (MoRST) has a particular interest in the impact of the science system on New Zealand’s economy, society and environment. Impact assessment helps the Ministry to demonstrate accountability, make investment decisions and learn more about policy effects for further improvement.
