The Impact of and Issues arising from the Global Financial Crisis

This report has been prepared as background for the 2010 Review of Retirement Income Policies being undertaken by the Retirement Commissioner, in accordance with the requirements of the Retirement Income Act 2001. One of the matters that the Government has asked the Commissioner to address is how the global financial crisis may affect the adequacy of retirement income provision for individuals at various life stages.
