The New Zealand Injury Prevention Strategy (NZIPS) was disestablished in December 2013. The information contained on the pages below has been archived for reference purposes only.

The New Zealand Injury Prevention Strategy (NZIPS) was an expression of the Government’s commitment to working with organisations and groups in the wider community to improve the country’s injury prevention efforts.

A key focus of NZIPS was to strengthen and enhance the infrastructure that supports injury prevention activity to improve safety performance.
