The specific objectives of this feasibility study were to examine:
- The availability and robustness of data and information to assess alcohol-related issues in the Queenstown Lakes District.
- Whether, or to what degree, data and information can be used to assess if any alcohol-related issues are influenced by changes to opening hours that have occurred in the Queenstown Lakes District in the past.
- Whether, or to what degree, data and information can be used to assess harms more generally over time in the Queenstown Lakes District.
- Any necessary improvements to data and information collection to enable Lakes Environmental Limited and the Queenstown Lakes District Council to be in a better position to assess policy or regulation changes in the future.
