 Oranga Tamariki Evidence Centre

The Oranga Tamariki Evidence Centre works to build the evidence base that helps us better understand wellbeing and what works to improve outcomes for New Zealand’s children, young people, and their whānau.

The Evidence Centre is structured around three teams that work collaboratively, but with a primary focus on Analytics and Investment, Research and Synthesis, and Evaluation. Together, we are building a strong and relevant evidence base to provide advice around populations and to support the design of new interventions, so that we can be confident they are contributing positively to the wellbeing of children, young people, and their families.
