The Working for Families Evaluation has been jointly conducted by the Ministry of Social Development and Inland Revenue Department. It aimed to assess:
- The implementation and delivery of the package as a whole and its components. The impact of the package in ensuring that families get their entitlements (package receipt), including identifying barriers and facilitators to receiving the package.
- The impact of the package on net incomes, income poverty and living standards for all those affected by the changes, especially for low-to-middle income families with dependent children.
- The degree to which the package improves employment-related outcomes for adults from low-to-middle income families with dependent children.
