At the request of the Minister of Finance, Superu commissioned research into the cost of land use regulations on house prices in Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Palmerston North, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown.
This research was commissioned from the Ministerial Social Sector Research Fund, which is used to respond to research and evaluation questions from Ministers about social sector issues. The Fund was managed by Superu.
